Cecile & Ganten Get Married: Wedding Preparation {Saint Simons wedding photographer}

When I met Cecile and Ganten in late December for a wedding consultation, I felt as if I was reconnecting with good friends, even though it was our first time meeting.  While they both currently live in Atlanta, they have deep ties with Saint Simons Island.  Cecile and Ganten both have family on the island, so it's as if they were destined to meet.  One day, Ganten, who at that time was working as a bartender at Brogen's, found himself serving drinks to an attractive and spunky little lady...and the rest was history, as they say!

Cecile and Ganten are a fabulously fun couple who are adored by many, so when they told me their wedding guest list would be around 300, it didn't surprise me one bit.  And when these two throw a celebration, you definitely don't want to miss it!

Fast forward a few months, and the wedding day had arrived!  Wedding preparation details captured by my lens were very important to Cecile, so while the boys were relaxing for the morning, I spent my time with Cecile and her girls.  I first met the beautiful bride-to-be and her entourage at her hotel room at the Sea Gate Inn, where I fell instantly in love with the huge window with plantation shutters in the bedroom.  I just knew we had to photograph her dress hanging in front of all that gorgeous natural light.

Then it was soon off to the Saint Simons United Methodist Church to start getting ready for the big event! Some of Cecile's best friends and her beautiful mom were on hand to assist Cecile with getting ready.  From her beautiful updo held in place with a floral lace clip to her classy-yet-sexy lace mermaid-style Allure bridal gown down to her silver Kate Spade shoes adorned with a Tiffany blue heart-shaped key charm, Cecile transformed from a naturally beautiful girl into a stunning bride before our eyes.
